Aber Falls Path
Aber Falls Path - 1 July 2017
Grade: Accessible Walk (some steep sections)
Distance: 2.5 miles - 3.2km
Time: 2 hours
Terrain: Accessible path
This is a great walk, initially through woodland to one of Wales` most famous waterfalls before ascending and crossing open sheep grazing hillsides. There are superb views across to Puffin Island and Anglesey.
The easy approach to the main waterfall, Rhaeadr Fawr reached by an all ability trail, with a steeper section near the falls, which will need a little assistance without electric wheelchairs. The all ability trail there and back is 2.5 -miles for which two hours should be allowed. It is possible to extend the walk (not suitable for wheelchairs) in a circular fashion by crossing the two bridges and continuing along the North Wales path, allow three hours for the 4.5-mile circular walk descending into the village of Abergwyngregyn.
