What is open at the moment?

I’m planning on climbing Snowdon, where can I find more information?

Where can I stay?

You must pre-book and plan your trip to Snowdonia in advance. Not all accommodation providers are fully open and many have restrictions due to social distancing requirements. More information here.

Can I camp anywhere?

No. You must pre-book and plan your trip in advance. It is an offence to camp in undesignated places without the permission of the landowner. You cannot park in car parks, laybys or in other undesignated spots and stay overnight. More information here.

Are the toilets open?

All National Park owned and Council toilets are open and have an increased cleaning schedule. Please note however that does NOT include the toilets on the summit of Snowdon. Hafod Eryri (the café and building on the top of the mountain) will remain closed for the remainder of this year.

Is the train running up Snowdon?

The Snowdon Railway is a privately owned company and all details can be found on their website.
