The Snowdonia National Park Authority is the local planning authority for all land and properties within the Snowdonia National Park, and are responsible for processing and managing most forms of development within the National Park boundary.
Planning permission is approval to start building or altering a building or piece of land. There are some developments which don't require it and you can find out more about whether you need planning permission here. In most cases however you will need to get the relevant planning approval before you can begin.
