Snowdon is the highest mountain in England and Wales at 1,085m and in Welsh is known as "Yr Wyddfa". On the summit there is a cafe and narrow gauge railway station catering for the thousands of visitors which visit the summit by train and on foot each year.
On a clear day the views from the summit can be far reaching over the rest of the National Park, and occasionally, even Ireland over the Irish Sea just being visible.
