Aims & Objectives
The Project aims to:
- Enhance the biodiversity value of gardens and public spaces in Gwynedd and Conwy by promoting wildlife friendly gardening.
- Create new public gardens with the local community to benefit all age groups.
- Involve local people and schools in sustainability, recycling, composting and caring for the environment.
- Encourage healthy lifestyles.
These aims are achieved by:
- The provision of advice, information packs and leaflets.
- Giving start-up grants and tool kits to local schools.
- Showing examples of good practice.
- Demonstrations and exhibitions.
