Aims & Objectives


The Project aims to:

  • Enhance the biodiversity value of gardens and public spaces in Gwynedd and Conwy by promoting wildlife friendly gardening.

  • Create new public gardens with the local community to benefit all age groups.

  • Involve local people and schools in sustainability, recycling, composting and caring for the environment.

  • Encourage healthy lifestyles.


These aims are achieved by:

  • The provision of advice, information packs and leaflets.

  • Giving start-up grants and tool kits to local schools.

  • Public lectures.

  • Showing examples of good practice.

  • Practical workshops.

  • Demonstrations and exhibitions.

  • Guided walks.
